A Beaumont man facing 10 counts of possessing child pornography has pleaded guilty to two
of the charges. 19-year old Jacob Daniel Bastian appeared in a Beaumont courtroom Monday.
The remaining eight charges were dismissed as part of a plea agreement. Bastian was arrested in
August of last year after a search warrant of his home revealed that he had been uploading child
pornography. The children ranged from the ages of two to 13. He will be sentenced by Judge
Raquel West on a later date.
