Robert Kraft Not The Only Big Name Caught Up In Prostitution Sting

A Danger sign is seen on the front door of the Orchids of Asia Day Spa after New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft is charged with allegedly soliciting for sex

New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft wasn't the only prominent and wealthy individual to be arrested following a six-month-long investigation into a prostitution and human trafficking ring in Florida. Authorities released the identities of 173 people who were charged with crimes ranging from human trafficking to soliciting prostitution. The names included prominent Wall Street billionaire John Childs and John Havens, Citigroup’s former president and chief operating officer.

Both men were accused of soliciting prostitution and have denied the charges.

"I have received no contact by the police department about this charge,” Childs told Bloomberg in a telephone interview. “The accusation of solicitation of prostitution is totally false. I have retained a lawyer.”

The list also included Kenneth Wessel, the current president of the Boys & Girls Clubs in Indian River County. Wessel turned himself in and has resigned his position.

"We will be entering a plea of not guilty in this matter," Wessel's attorney Andrew Metcalf told Fox News. "I would caution officials and media to allow the justice system to take its course and not forget about the fundamental right to the presumption of innocence which has been ignored up to this point."
