President Trump is learning, among other things, not to grouse at the press, because they in turn will report nothing you want heard and everything you don’t want, broadcast around the globe. The latest faux pas is his rift on the civil war. I know there are many folks who know little about this, but as leader of our country, you should pretend and not give open path to those who would harm you. He talked about a civil war in which Andrew Jackson was unhappy with. To his chagrin, history points out Jackson died in 1845, 16 years before the civil war began. It’s not mandatory you know everything about everything, but it helps. If you don’t know, a quick “no comment” will often suffice. When you are in the bulls eye, you are target practice. When you are Barack Obama and incorrectly say “57” states when there are only “50”, you are given a pass by the media. Those are the ground rules. Know them.
