Far be it from me to be a student of the bible. That self admittedly, I am not. I do however give the church, along with my mom, credit for making sure I attended Sunday school as a young boy. And as such, as most kids, we let much of the message pass us by. The brain, however, is a wonderful instrument of retention. Many of the “do not’s” and the “do’s” came back to me in later life. When applied, they seemed to work out for me. In a jam or a hard time I always knew there was someone to talk to, get advice from and a great measure came from the book I have never taken the time to read. Only in the last years have I been able to grasp much of that goodness that was served to me at such an innocent age. Thanks, mom and Thanks Lord for seeing me through so much of the life I could have made miserable for myself. Happy Easter folks.
