Not a totally unexpected run for the democratic party last night. 35 to 40 republicans retiring and a show of support for new blood. What the Democrats need to do now is concentrate and legislate, not investigate. We’ve got two years to try and put hands across the table. Hopefully, it will bear fruit. Note the states where the president concentrated on helping nominees get elected are the ones who did that. Florida, Indiana and Missouri are examples. If there is reaching across the aisle, then both parties will get credit. If they don’t, tremendous gains will be for naught.
