The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office’ Marine Division found a body yesterday morning in the
Neches River. The body was taken to the Port Neches Park boat ramp. Precinct 2 Justice of the
Peace Mark DeRouen has ordered an autopsy. An identification has not been made.
