Gas prices have skyrocketed over the past week. The average price in the Beaumont/Port Arthur
area is $3.47 a gallon, which is up 27 cents from last Friday. The statewide average is up 25
cents to $3.49 a gallon. This morning’s national average is up 11 cents to $3.83. These averages
are from Triple A Texas.
