A boating accident on Toledo Bend Saturday afternoon claimed the life of a man and injured
another. The Lake Charles men were heading to Pirates Grove from the Texas side of the lake
when their boat sank. The body of one of the boaters was located nearby. The survivor was
air-lifted to a Shreveport hospital and was treated for hypothermia.
