Two people have been charged with the February 9th murder of 57-year old Rexie
McMullen in Jasper. McMullen’s daughter-in-law, 32-year old Courtney Breanna
Minter-McMullen, and 34-year old James Paul Taucer and both being held on
$1.5 million bonds. Both remain in the Jasper County Jail. A third person, 35-year old
Jeremy Wayne Nickens is accused of setting McMullen’s house on fire after he was
shot to death. He is charged with arson and has a $250,000 bond.
