Gas prices continue to drop. The average price in the Beaumont/Port Arthur area this morning is
$3.71 a gallon. That is down seven cents from last week. A year ago on April 15th we were
paying $2.58. The average price across the state of Texas dropped five cents to $3.70 a gallon.
The national average is $4.07, which is down six cents. These averages are from Triple A Texas.
