A Beaumont man has been charged with Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity. 44-year old
Johnny Ray Martin is accused of being involved in drug dealing, prostitution and theft. The
thefts of homes and businesses across southeast Texas exceeded $30,000. Martin, who is being
held on a $100,000 bond is also accused of manipulating drug addicts to committee crimes in
exchange for drugs. Additional arrests will follow.
