Beaumont Man Sentenced To Federal Prison

A Beaumont man has been sentenced to nearly 13 years in federal prison for drug and gun

violations.  43-year old Deshawn Paul Hall was found to be distributing crack cocaine out of

a home on Magnolia Street in Beaumont for over a year. During the investigation it was

revealed Hall was a convicted felon with previous convictions of sexual assault, failure to

comply with sex offender registry and possession of a controlled substance. Hall, also known

as Deshawn Paul Davis, was convicted this past August and was sentenced today to 155

months by U.S. Magistrate Marcia Crone.
