The filing deadline for Beaumont city council is 5:00 this afternoon. As of this morning, two
had filed for mayor. Incumbent Becky Ames is being challenged by Jude Peredez. Beth
Gallaspy has filed for one of the two at-large seats. She is challenging incumbents W.L Pate
and Get Williams-Wright.
