A man that had filed for both the Beaumont city council and the Beaumont school board has
withdrawn his application for city council. Under state law you cannot run for two positions.
Kevin Reese had filed for the Ward 3 council seat and the District 4 school board seat. Yesterday,
Reese pulled his name of the ballot for city council.
