Four people were sent to the hospital yesterday afternoon following an eight vehicle wreck on
the Orange County side of the Neches River bridge on I-10 west. The DPS reports one of the
vehicles slowed down and was rear ended by another vehicle leading to a chain reaction crash.
One of the drivers was listed in serious condition, while other three suffered non-life threatening
injuries. Two of the drivers were cited for failure to control speed. The interstate was closed
for two hours following the wreck.
