Lawmaker Files Bill Protecting Political Views

By Harold Mann
Mar 6, 2017

A Southeast Texas state representative is pushing a bill that would protect the political views of

workers. The bill filed by State Representative James White would prevent employers from firing

or disciplining  their workers over their political views. White calls it a first amendment issue. The

bill moves to the rest of the house for vote.
