Four men, three from Columbia and one from Puerto Rico, appeared in a Beaumont federal
courtroom yesterday and were charged with conspiracy to distribute cocaine and conspiracy
to money launder. The four are accused of distributing heroin through Southeast Texas to
New Orleans from 2014 to 2017. During the investigation, law enforcement officers seized
10 kilograms of heroin and $386,000 cash. All four men face up to 20 years in federal prison
if they are convicted.
