A man in Orange is recovering after being shot yesterday afternoon. The victim, 24-year old
Centarious Chavis, suffered a gunshot wound to the shoulder in the 1000 block of Rein Avenue.
Chavis was transported to Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont where he was treated
and released. An arrest has not been made. Anyone with any information is asked to contact
the Orange Police Department.
