A burglary suspect is jailed facing multiple charges. Earlier this week, Jefferson County
deputies stopped a vehicle matching the description of a vehicle that was featured on
Crime Stoppers involved in several Beaumont burglaries. 35-year old Forrest Mabry, of
Beaumont, was initially arrested for no driver’s license and no proof of insurance. Several
items, possibly related to burglaries were in plain view in the car. 15 grams of meth was
was also found in the vehicle. Mabry has also been charged with possession of a controlled
substance and retaliation for threatening bodily injury to the arresting deputy. He was out
on bond for possession of a controlled substance from last month. Additional charges are
pending.
