A Beaumont man is jailed for stealing a car with a child inside the vehicle. Just past 2:00 this
morning, a driver of a car went inside a convenience store in 1400 block Washington Blvd
leaving a 3-month old child in the car. The vehicle was located in the 600 block of Port Arthur.
The child was not in the car. 34-year old Marlin Seale was taken into custody. About a hour later,
Beaumont police received a call from a citizen in the 2800 block of Sarah telling them a citizen
found the baby in its car seat on his porch. The child was unharmed. Seales has been charged with
unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and endangering a child.
