A Buna man has been charged with intoxication manslaughter in connection with yesterday’s
fatality motorcycle wreck in Hardin County. Initial reports were that a deer hit the motorcycle
on FM 421, west of Lumberton killing 56-year old Tiare Susan Sorenson of Jasper. The driver
of the motorcycle, 56-year old Kennon Floyd Perry sustained minor injuries and refused medical
attention. Further investigation revealed there was not a deer involved and Perry was traveling
at an unsafe speed and lost control of motorcycle. Perry is jailed.
