A cigarette left on a bed led to a house fire in Beaumont last night. When firefighters arrived on
the scene in the 1100 block of Ewing heavy flames were coming from the front of the house.
They were able to contain the fire to the front of the home. Three adults and one child were
able to escape without injury. The American Red Cross is assisting.
