Earlier this week we report that Payless Shoes would be closing 400 stores nationwide. Now,
we have learned three southeast Texas stores are on the list. They are the Parkdale Mall
location in Beaumont, the Crossroads Shopping Center in Vidor, and the store located in
the 3700 of Gulfway Drive in Port Arthur. Closing dates are not known at this time. On
Tuesday, Payless Shoes filed for bankruptcy.
