A 2-year old girl involved in an accident in Hardin County has died from her injuries. The
infant was in a car that was struck by a pickup that crossed into their lane yesterday morning
on FM 770 near Saratoga. The driver of her car, 24-year old Cody Norman of Kountze suffered
minor injuries. The driver of the pickup that crossed into the oncoming lane, 63-year old Billy
Ray Briscoe, of Village Mills, was treated for minor injuries. At this time it is believed Briscoe
may have fallen asleep at the wheel.
