A Port Arthur man is jailed after fleeing from Jefferson County deputies in a stolen vehicle
this morning. The Land Rover was stolen in Nederland and deputies spotted the vehicle
heading west on I-10. Following a brief chase, the vehicle stopped near mile marker 842. The
driver, 26-year old Corey Flemmings, was arrested and charged with unauthorized use of a
motor vehicle and evading detention.
