Yesterday morning a Beaumont police officer was flagged in the 4100 block of Congress by
a citizen who said a theft had just occurred. Officers located the suspect’s vehicle. The
suspect, 33-year old Curtis Lee Zeno, fled on foot and was eventually tracked down with
the assistance of K-9 Gus, Zeno was found hiding underneath a house. He is jailed and
charged with evading, resisting, and theft.
