An investigation into the assault of an elderly woman has led to the arrest of a Beaumont man. On
April 29th the woman was found in the 3700 block of Pointe North with extensive injuries. It
was determined the woman was confronted and assaulted by a man that led to her suffering a
broken neck. Yesterday, police arrested 39-year old Walter Wilson for injury to the elderly. His
bond has been set at $25,000
