A Jefferson County jury returns to the courthouse this morning to resume deliberations in the
capital murder trial of Joseph Colone Jr., who they convicted last week for the 2010 shooting
deaths of 41-year old Mary Hernandez Goodman and 16-year old Brianna Goodman. The
mother and daughter were murdered at their Beaumont home on Hartel Street. Colone faces
either life in prison or the death penalty.
