Federal agents raided the offices of a local hospice and offices of a Beaumont doctor
yesterday morning. Agents raided the office of Dr. Qamar Arfeen in the 3400 block of
College and storage sheds behind the Harbor Hospice, located in the 2400 block of
Major Drive. Details around the raids have not been released. Hospice centers in
Houston and Southwest Louisiana were also raided yesterday. It’s part of an ongoing
investigation.
