Beaumont police are investigating an early morning shooting. A man forced his way into
an apartment in the 1200 block of Saxe. The suspect and an occupant got into an altercation
when a gun discharged striking the occupant of the home. The gunshot victim jumped out
a window and the suspect fire another shot before fleeing the area on foot. The gunshot victim
was treated for what is believed to be a non-life threatening wound. Anyone with any
