Beaumont police are investigating an aggravated robbery. An armed man entered the Family
Dollar Store on Washington Blvd last night pointed a handgun at store employees and
customers demanding money from separate registers. After getting the cash, he fled the store
and was last seen running down Park Street. Police set up a perimeter around the area and
were unable to located the suspect. Nobody inside the store was hurt during the robbery.
