A routine traffic stop by Beaumont police this week ended with three going to jail on drug
charges. The officer pulled over a PT Cruiser for running a stop sigh near I-10 & 7th. 70
grams of methamphetamine and a firearm were found in the car. 52-year old Jonathan
Haasl of Beaumont, 36-year old Heidi Worthington of Beaumont, and 40-year old Rodolfo
Hernandez of Port Arthur were all booked into the Jefferson County jail for possession of
a controlled substance.
