Jasper police report two men were killed yesterday morning when a pickup crashed into their
business. The pickup, driven by 62-year old Joe Clifton Dickerson, was traveling northbound on
Wheeler Street, which is Highway 96, left the road and drove into Abel’s Auto Detailing killing
26-year old Oscar Rivera and 29-year old Louis Castro, both employees at Abel’s. Dickerson
was airlifted to a Tyler hospital. The investigation continues.
