Detectives with the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office are investigating an aggravated robbery.
two armed men entered the Batson Grocery around 3:30 yesterday morning and fired several
shots. A pursuit started in Sour Lake, went through Beaumont, and ended in Cheek when two
men ran into a wooded area and could not be located. A woman inside the car was taken into
custody for questioning. Nobody inside the store was hurt.
