A Vidor man has been sentenced to more than 11 years in federal prison for drug trafficking. 45-
year old Ben Doyle Vaughn III was arrested in March of last year when a search of his home on
Clair Street in Vidor revealed methamphetamine paraphernalia and a marijuana shop inside a
shop at his home. Methamphetamine was found in plastic bags inside a metal can. Vaughn, who
pleaded guilty to the charges this past January, was sentenced to 135 months yesterday.
