Beaumont police have issued a capital murder arrest warrant on 22-year old Jared Javon Bias,
who is one of the suspects in last week’s shooting death of Kera Teel and her unborn daughter
Kyndal. Bias turned himself in to the Jefferson County Correctional Facility last night on a
previous charge. Detectives have not spoken with Bias since he turned himself in. On Tuesday,
police arrested 17-year old Atayanna Douglas on three counts of aggravated robbery. Police
say she was at the scene of the killing of Teel. Her bond has been set at $1.5 million.
