Two robbery suspects are jailed. They fled from authorities following the robbery of the Batson
Grocery on Highway 105 in Hardin County. Hardin County Sheriff Mark Davis tells KLVI they
robber the store around 3:30 yesterday morning. They fired several shots. Nobody was hurt. The
suspects fled into a wooded area following a pursuit that ended near Cheek in Jefferson County.
A 17-year old female was in the car. She has been charged with aggravated robbery. Jefferson
County deputies received a tip yesterday afternoon that led to the arrest of the two suspects that
fled on foot. Detectives says they are responsible for the recent robbery of the Express Mart on
Highway 105 in Jefferson County.
