Beaumont police have made an arrest in the shooting of an 8-year old girl, who was shot in
the leg Monday afternoon as she was walking near the intersection of Pipkin and Avenue A.
Officer Carol Riley says the shooting stemmed from an dispute between three men. 37-year old
Anteny Dehawn Hinson was arrested early this morning and charged with two counts of
aggravated assault. Police are looking for 22-year old Jacoby Venture.
