The Hardin County Sheriff’s Office is asking for your assistance in locating an inmate that
escaped from the county jail early this morning. 28-year old Donavin Michael Cantwell was
able to move past guards and exit the jail around 5:00 am during morning feeding activity.
Video surveillance captured him traveling on foot to a nearby home where he was provided
assistance by another person. They fled in a vehicle from Kountze. The vehicle and a female
accomplice were located near Warren. Cantwell, a white male. 5-11, 160 ponds, was jailed
on unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, evading detention, and a felon in possession of a
firearm. If you see Cantwell, you are asked to contact the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office
or your local law enforcement agency.
