It was a busy weekend for the U.S. Coastguard. They medevaced a 36-year old man off a

fishing vessel 50 miles southeast of Galveston on Saturday afternoon. The man was

experiencing numbness in his left arm and chest pains. He was airlifted to a UTMB in Galveston.

The Coast Guard medevaced a 55-year old man Saturday afternoon, 40 miles southeast of

Galveston. The man was airlifted to UTMB after suffering a eye injury due to malfunctioning

equipment. Also on Saturday, the Coast Guard suspended its search for a 19-year old man that

was reported missing on the Galveston side of San Luis Pass. The search covered over 250 miles.
