Beaumont police are investigating the death of a woman as a possible homicide. The body of
54-year old Catherine June Dungan, of Beaumont, was found Saturday afternoon at Collier’s
Ferry Landing at the end of Pine Street. Anyone that was in the area of Collier’s Ferry Park
between 6:00 and 5:00 Saturday is asked to call Beaumont police or Southeast Texas Crime
Stoppers at 833-TIPS.
