A Beaumont teen is facing up to life in prison after being found guilty for murder. 18-year
old Tyrece Harris was convicted for the April 2016 shooting death of Jimmy Bertrand, who
was shot and killed outside his home on Sun Meadow in Beaumont. Two witnesses, Reggie
Collins and Javarian Brooks identified Harris as the shooter. Harris, who was free on bond,
was taken into custody following the verdict. He will be sentenced today.
