We have a long holiday weekend in front of us and law enforcement agencies will be out in
full force looking for impaired drivers and making sure everyone is the vehicle is buckled up.
Also, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office will be conducting heightened awareness and
enforcement of boating under the influence laws as part of the national “Operation Dry Water”
campaign.
