Beaumont police report a homeowner was shot at this morning during a west end burglary.
The man went into his garage in the 400 block of Yorktown Lane and saw two me attempting
to break into his car. One of the suspects fire several shots towards the home owner, who was
not hurt. Police are trying to determine if this burglary is related to several other auto
burglaries that occurred in the west end this morning. Anyone with any information can
