Beaumont police are investigating an early morning shooting. Just past midnight at man was
talking to his girlfriend in the 200 block of Rosine when they were approached by a man with
a gun demanding money. The suspect shot the victim in the upper arm. The victim, a licensed
gun carrier, grab a gun and fired shots and the suspect who fled the scene. Police were unable
to locate the suspect.
