Three juveniles are in custody facing auto burglary charges. This morning, Beaumont
police responded to an auto burglary in progress in the 1400 block of N. Major Drive. The
suspects fled the scene in a stolen car that was spotted by police near Calder and Phelan.
The vehicle fled and ran into a ditch near Pinchback and Wall. With the assistance of K-9
the suspects were found hiding in a garage in the 300 block of Pinchback They were
transported to the Minnie Rogers Juvenile Detention Center and charged with evading and
criminal trespass. They are believed to be involved in multiple auto burglaries and thefts.
