Vidor Man Pleads Guilty To Drug Charges

A Vidor man faces 10 years to life in prison after pleading guilty to federal drug charges.

36-year old Jonathan Derick Hickey was arrested this past January following a drug

transaction in the parking lot of the West Orange Wal-Mart. A man at the scene told police

he purchase methamphetamine from Hickey. A search of Hickey’s vehicle revealed cash,

meth, marijuana, and pills. A search of Hickey’s home in Vidor produced a firearm and

additional drug paraphernalia.  A sentencing date has not been set.
