A 41-year old man is jailed after leading Beaumont police on a chase yesterday morning.
Police attempted to make a traffic stop and Major Drive and Highway 105. The driver of
the car, Earnest Gallien sped off. He stopped and fled on foot on Navajo Trail. A perimeter
was set up and Gallier was found hiding on Chisholm Trial. The vehicle he was in was
reported stolen. Gallier has been charged with evading and possession of a controlled
substance.
