Newton County Sheriff Billy Rolwes tells KLVI that his office is conducting a death investigation
after the body of a woman was found this morning on the porch of a “tac” room, which is
similar to a storage shed. The woman was from Louisiana. Her car was near a garage about 100
yards away. An autopsy has been ordered by Justice of the Peace Brenda Smith and will be
conducted tomorrow morning.
