Three are jailed in connection with numerous burglaries of residences in the northern part of
Jefferson County. Through a crime stoppers tip, detectives were able to identify one of the
suspects through surveillance video where a stolen credit card was used at a convenience store.
The investigation revealed 28-year old Brandy Trahan of Lumberton, 36-year old Djan Chizer
of Lumberton, and 35-year old Troy Vincent of Beaumont were involved in the burglaries and
the use of the stolen credit card. Trahan is being held on a $50,000 bond for debit card abuse and
a $1,000 bond for theft. Chizer is being held on a $50,000 bond for debit card abuse. Vincent
is being held without bond for parole violation warrant, evading in a motor vehicle, theft, and
a pending charged of theft if a firearm.
